4 pole connector breaks both hots and both neutrals to prevent possibility of “live'” plug when not engaged. YQ230 adapter that permits use of 50A, 125/250V cable set. #61CM52, with two 30A, 125V receptacles, #26CM10A.

Internal P.C. Board Senses That:

– Both plugs are fully engaged (i.e., one is not dangling loose while the other is plugged in).

– The polarity of the 30A receptacle on the dock is correct (i.e., no mis-wiring of the hot and neutral wires).

– The two 30A receptacles are from opposite phases (i.e., there is a true 250V available instead of just 125V).
